Network topologies can be viewed in different versions:

  • Abstract view only shows nodes and links (without linking blocks)
  • Full view shows the full network topology, including linking blocks, disturbance sources and external excitations.
  • Disturbance view shows the network together with its disturbance sources and disturbance links.
  • External excitation view shows the network topology together with its external excitaton sources and excitation links.
  • Transfer view shows the network topology with disturbance and excitations contributions indicated by small triangle arrows on the respective nodes (green = disturbance, black = excitation).

Alternatively, legend entries in the network plot can be clicked to customize the view. For external excitation and white noise disturbance sources, the user can cycle through showing these either as individual nodes, as triangles on w-nodes on which they enter, or not showing them at all. Any module/link type (e.g. node-to-node or external_signal-to-node) can be clicked in the legend to toggle its visibility on/off.

The replot function, redraws the plot of the network topology, and optimizes the location of the nodes.
